  This place is great. Simple, super clean, very tidy and well kept motel. Under new ownership, a lovely family running the place and the hospitality is surprising.

  My sister came in from Toronto and loved it, she said the room was always clean and the bed sheets are hung up on a clothesline to dry making them smell fresh.

  It's cheaper than any other place in the area, and you can tell this family is proud of their new business. I'm happy to support that. Not sure what the other poster was talking about the wifi works great and there's a plug-in right beside the bed. They offered to store my motorcycle in the garage if I had any concerns about Securety. Nice folks.

  One of the worse experiences I have ever had! I spent a week there over Christmas and i was so disappointed. The owners came in my room.amd turned off my heat the minute i left the room during a cold snap and we lost power for 24 hrs and tbey never even offered a flashlight or an extra blanket.

  As well.they kept accusing me of smoking in the room even though they watched me going out to my car every time. Very rude and ignorant to deal with after all these years of staying there lesson learned...never again! The new owners are not like the old ones...not a good example of Cape Breton hospitality!
